Ryker got to sit in with the band @rhythmnationentertainment at sound check this week and he was on cloud nine! He said, “when that girl got excited (Allie?)...I liked that...it made me feel good because she liked my music!” Of course I’m happy that he seems to have talent and interest, but what is most admirable is his obsession and voluntary work ethic. I teach him very little, but he works on it relentlessly and without prompting. Not sure where that part came from because my mom had to set an egg timer for one hour on the piano and I hated practicing until I was maybe 15. Anywho, last post of Ryker playing #virtual insanity by @jamiroquaihq before I encourage him to start learning either a new part of the tune, or some other tune altogether. Enjoy!
