No. 8 Virginia Tech Wrestling Upsets No. 3 NC State in Dramatic Last-Second Win
VT beats NC State in dramatic fashion. The meet came down to the last might @ 125 lbs. VT needed a win and needed to win by more than just a point. 8th ranked Sam Latona scored 4 points on a TD and 2 pt NF with seconds remaining on the clock to win the match 7-4 over #4 Jake Camacho and tie the dual meet 16-16. The tiebreaker took the dual to points scored. VT won the tiebreaker 49-48, meaning that a 1 point win would have given the dual meet win to NC State.
Jason Nolf's sister Sara's fiancé just tragically passed away, and she has a 2 week old newborn named Amelia and a 3 year old named Matthew to take care of and to supply for. She is still off of work from her pregnancy. This is an extremely difficult time, and anything you can donate to help with costs would greatly be appreciated.

IOWA WRESTLING PAUSES TEAM ACTIVITIES; FEB. 12 MATCH WITH PENN STATE IS POSTPONED
USA Wrestling Olympic Trials are moved. We won't see them at Penn State this year. Where will they go? Penn State will get the 2024 Trials instead. Will this year's trials even happen?
The D3 Championships have been canceled. These poor wrestlers do it for the love of the sport. They don't get athletic scholarships. This is the 2nd year in a row for them to get canceled. Last year, they were told of the cancellation while warming up for the tournament. Thankfully the NWCA and USA Wrestling have stepped up and offered to provide a championship opportunity for these wrestlers. If you want to donate to help them put on the event, see the article and link below
