Hey friends! I hope if you've been dealing with harsh weather that you're safe. I live in southern New Jersey (where my stories are set) and we've been having some strong thunderstorms roll through. It's getting hot out now which is triggering my hibernation season (spiritually I'm part polar bear like Burke Bedard, I like colder weather). I am NOT a beach bunny. LOLOL. However, if there are French fries or cheese pizza around I'm ready to go full on seagull and swoop in. How about you? Do you love the heat of summer or the cold of winter?

All of my books are standalone, you get each couple's romance in a single book with no cliffhangers, but each one has common characters or locations so you'll catch glimpses of old friends as you visit. All of my books are set in Southern New Jersey in the fictional small town of Shifting Pines, New Jersey a few miles outside of Atlantic City. It has marshlands, bays, and the famous Pine Barrens. It's the birthplace of the legendary Jersey Devil. It's my home.

I'll tell you more about book 2 in Shifting Pines in a future newsletter but pssst... it's up for preorder too. ;-) Book 3 will be coming in 2026 and OMG I cackle whenever I think of the title. I can't wait to share it with you! But there will be a bunch of Bigfoots falling in love before then.

What I'm currently writing - still being a night owl writer. My writing process has me staying up until 4 AM writing while having YouTube or reality TV shows on in the background. Current binge is Below Deck Mediterranean. You may be able to tell when I'm writing a certain scene in Book 4 of the Paranormal Hockey League series - Bashful Pucking Bigfoot, when you get the chance to read it. LOL. Sigh. Ollie. He is such an ooey gooey cinnamon roll and I want to gobble him up. Pastry chef Phoebe is side eyeing my choice of the word "gobble" (this will make sense once you read their story this December) and also telling me to keep my hands off her man.
