What should I watch next?

Hiya flock stars!

I've been pushing myself really hard writing the past few years that I am behind on scripted TV. I write late at night and usually have YouTube podcasts (Two Girls One Ghost, Do We Know Them?, Smosh reading Reddit stories, and Hannah Alonso are favorites) on for background. I watch reality TV like Survivor, assorted Real Housewives shows, and Below Deck but I don't watch "regular series" with a scripted storyline because I like to binge and I need to pay attention and haven't been able to.

Tell Me What To Do!

So, what should I watch? Of course Heated Rivalry and Off Campus are on my list. I think maybe the Matlock reboot? I'm not into scary/medical/military. I love stuff like Midsomer Murders, Heartland (need to catch up on the last few seasons), The Next Step, The Traitors. I have lots of streaming services. Reply and tell me what to watch next! I have season 4 of Nancy Drew to watch still but I get really scared so have been putting it off for years.

The Book I'm Working On

Just got back the copy edits for A Flamingo's Guide To Flirting so one step closer to releasing in August! I'll be going through them this weekend and preparing it for the proofreader! Info below in case you'd like to preorder!

A Flamingo's Guide To Flirting

When a former Las Vegas showgirl unexpectedly reconnects with her high school sweetheart in small town Shifting Pines, NJ, feathers fly. Because…yeah…they’re flamingo shifters.

Darcy

With my showgirl career in my rear view mirror, I decide it’s time to follow other dreams and find a place to roost. When the opportunity to move to Shifting Pines, NJ and choreograph for a show at a local casino and build a dance team for the local professional shifter hockey team comes up, I strut my way east, determined to start over and finally have a place to call home. Discovering my high school sweetheart lives here too and offers to rent me a room should be awesome but he’s not the same sweet boy I knew in high school. He’s all man…

Chase

My job at the local wildlife refuge puts me in contact with all kinds of creatures but I was not prepared for a gorgeous flamingo shifter showing up and creating a stir. Discovering she was my high school best friend and briefly my girlfriend, Darcy, was a shock, so was my impulsive offer to have her be my roommate. They say opposites attract but not when they are a chaotic whirlwind of red curls and long legs (her) and everything in its place tidiness (me). Can birds of a feather really flock together?

A Flamingo’s Guide to Flirting is a slow burn friends to lovers, opposites attract shifter romance packed with banter for days, tender moments, and roommate frustration. It's a standalone novella set in the Shifting Pines series universe.

A Flamingo’s Guide To Flirting is part of Romance Café Publishing’s SUPERNATURAL SMALL TOWN multi-author series.

BIGFOOT FINDS A BRIDE IS LEAVING KINDLE UNLIMITED

Bigfoot Finds A Bride will be leaving Kindle Unlimited in early June, getting an adorable new cover (I love it!!!!), and taking its place as the starting point of the Shifting Pines series (and my whole story universe!). What this means is if you prefer to read using other subscription services like Kobo Plus or Everand or buy from Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Google Play, or request your library carry the story, you'll be able to! Of course, it will still be available for sale on Amazon, just not able to borrow in KU. However, if you borrow it before it comes down (the KU term ends June 6) it will remain in your library available to read until you return it. AND it will be available in paperback and you'll be able to buy it through bookshop.org to benefit your favorite indie bookstore. I'll have a cover reveal and more details in June. The current cover by the incredible Kit Fox needs to be shown off before it's retired. I will always love it!

What Else I'm Working On

I mentioned last time I've been working more on posting on social media. It's hard. I think I speak for a lot of authors who have anxiety about posting on social media or sending newsletters and seeming too "salesy". Reality is if we don't tell people about our books chances aren't no one will find and read them but no one likes being sold to. Ack! Who would have thought that the writing was the easiest part of being an author? LOL. If you want to follow me on social media here are some links.

My Books

If you need to catch up on any of my stories just click the linked covers below. Did you know most of them are available to borrow from the Hoopla library app if your library system offers that? They are also available to borrow through the Kobo Plus and Everand subscription services.

If you've read one of my stories and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a review on your favorite platform and/or suggest it to a reading friend who may be interested. Reviews and word of mouth really help independent authors (like me!) get noticed and reach new readers.

I don't know what I'm doing this weekend. I still haven't gotten donuts. Now I want watermelon and I just happen to have a whole one in the fridge. I want to organize my office and bedroom but not sure I'll actually do it because I'd rather watch TV. LOL. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
