Deadlines are closing fast—like, end-of-this-month fast.
We’ve rounded up a handful of grants that are still open for entrepreneurs and creatives in our network. Whether you’re looking to launch something new or grow what you’ve already built, these are worth checking out.

1) Backing International Small Restaurants Grant: Deadline June 30th
This initiative seeks to support independent restaurants that positively impact their community. Each of the selected restaurants will receive $20,000 to support their business. The restaurant must be located in Toronto, Canada.
2) City of Toronto's Starter Company Plus: Deadline June 30th
A Trade Accelerator designed to equip Toronto-based businesses with the tools and support they need to build export capacity and accelerate growth in international markets. Eligible participants will receive practical training, expert mentorship, and a micro-grant of $5,000.
3) i.d.e.a Fund: Deadline July 4th
The i.d.e.a. Fund program is designed drive sustainable and circular economy growth. They’re looking for early-stage, scalable businesses across southern Ontario developing green products, services, or technologies. Up to $20,000 in matching seed funding to propel your project forward. Up to 30 hours of fully funded, targeted support from top business leaders.
4) EmpowerHER Tech Launchpad: Deadline July 11th
EmpowHER Tech Launchpad is a transformative 12-week accelerator program designed to propel women-led ventures that are ready to scale their existing product or technology-based businesses. Access up to $200,000 in resources for product, marketing, sales, and more.
5) TELUS #StandWithOthers Contest: Deadline Sept 3rd
Not due anytime soon, but this is a great opportunity to have on your radar. Canada’s biggest small business contest is back, and TELUS is looking for owners who have Made it in Canada. Apply for a chance to win $200,000 in funding, technology and exposure to help your business thrive.
