When I popped in last time, my beautiful orchids were in full bloom. I was ecstatic--they were my first ever orchid blooms. Alas, my good fortune did not last. One of them lost all it's cute little blossoms. I believe this is called bud blast and it made me sad. Whah!

Oh well...I'll take my minor setbacks. There are far worse things out there, so I'll count my blessings.

I don't have much today. I'm heads-down busy finishing my new website and writing my next book--suspense/thriller. You'll hear about it soon enough when I announce my new pen name. Nope. Not yet. You'll just have to wait on pens and needles.

Speaking of needles...I got my first covid vaccine quite by accident. My emotional response was unexpected. Second shot is April 7th and then hopefully we will finally get to see family we've missed for over a year. I hope your life is going well. Have you gotten your vaccine yet? Are you planning on it? That's it. I'm heading out to run errands, including picking up a huge bag of pecans from a local dentist. Weird, right? Apparently the dentist has an orchard.
