My Super Special Tuesday Treat

For the past two weeks, we’ve had a contractor in the house working on a gut remodel of our master bath. It was sorely needed since it was original to this 1985 house, and the shower floor was so old it could no longer be cleaned. Well, it could be cleaned, it just never looked like it had been. We started the process of getting bids over a year ago. It got derailed (didn’t everything) by covid.

The kids (all grown) have a running joke about the “ladder” feature. It was originally in the new shower, but the soap seemed a slippery problem, so we were “experimenting” with where it would work best. Hahaha. It is now gone and we await the new tub; the plumbing for it is on back-order nation-wide. Yikes! Covid strikes again. The shower glass folks will come measure in a week, so I have no idea how much longer we’ll be camped out in the guest bathroom.

I’ve spent too many nights on the couch because the fumes in the master bedroom were too much for my sensitive system. And we had a fiasco with chalky drywall dust covering the bedroom. It took a deep dusting to clean and my lungs were NOT happy.

Enough about my silly project. I promised you a special treat. In the fall, I had the pleasure of working with a senior member of my writer’s guild—Mrs. Shirley Anderson. This former nun had written her memoir and needed help getting to the next step. I’m happy to say this gorgeous and entertaining book is now published and ready and is quite a journey. Take a look at the interview I recently had with Shirley, and then check out Poverty, Virginity & Love. I'll be doing a drawing for an ebook copy next week for everyone who opens this email.

And before we go, here’s a collection of short romances to feed your need.

Hope everyone is staying healthy.
