Catching Up and Upcoming Fun

My dears. It. Is. February. It's not even, like, February 1st or something. I feel like I've gotten to the age... where I talk about how I've gotten to the age. And, well, if you're at that age, you know what I mean.
Anyway, I've gotten to that age where time feels like it's starting to fly and I'm having a hard time catching it. January began with my college-aged kids going back to school and my grandmother's funeral. To be clear, Grandma was 98 and had lived and incredible life and it was more of a celebration than a grief-fest. We'll miss her no doubt, but she--by her own admission--was ready to move on to the next adventure.
When I got home from the funeral, I was definitely ready to get my feet planted and my writing going. Which meant that I promptly got sick (twice!). And I don't often get sick.
But...
Then, yesterday, the sun finally came out! (Honestly, I like winter, but this winter has been DREARY.)
And we've got some fun stuff ahead!!!
I just started working on From the Sky. It will be the 5th and (likely) final book in the Unlikely Heroes series (my sweet women's fiction series). Speaking of, From Ashes is on sale for $.99 RIGHT NOW, so if you don't own it, go forth and own it.
(And From Gunpowder is going up for sale later this month, but you'll hear about that the last week of the month.)

I'm also planning to do a Kickstarter this year for the first time ever (terror, fear, thrilledness). It will be for a Middle Grade mystery called Click. If any of your tweens and young teens are into mystery, this will be the book for them. And if you want to see if you'll like it, you can read it on Kindle Vella (either the whole thing, or the first three free episodes). Check it out HERE! (I just finished editing it today and got myself choked up about it... That's the level of dork we've got here.)
