MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!
Anybody else having a wild time of December? We spent last Saturday with my daughter who was fighting against a very mean kidney stone, which was not cool at all. She missed an audition and a dance. We missed a comedian we'd bought tickets to see in Nashville. But she passed that stone and everyone survived.
I do hope to do a few appreciation posts (read small prizes) on Facebook the week before Christmas, so if you're interested, keep your eye on @jeanknightpacewrites
"Impoverished human Pietre doesn’t hesitate to rescue a desperate puppy. Unaware that his actions have both prophetic and legal consequences, the boy takes the dog to his village to nurse it back to health. But when the authorities show up on his front doorstep, Pietre is horrified when his dad is jailed under pain of death.
Werewolf prince Wittendon wants to measure up to the expectations of his father, the king. So when he’s dispatched to deal with an illegal wolf-dog hybrid harbored by a human, the young noble is determined to enforce the law. But when he makes the arrest, the royal shifter is shocked to discover a loving bond missing from his own people.
To save his father, Pietre must partner with the ruling entities who want him and his family dead. And when Wittendon discovers the existence of a secret rebel faction within the kingdom, he’s forced to decide whether he values love over order.
Can a prince and a pauper unite to bring balance to wolves and humanity?"

Ghosts in the graveyard isn't just a game.
Mary Steele is your typical teenager bookworm. Until today, she told her mom everything, but after she meets Moses, the ghost of enslaved man, she suddenly has a secret. She's not the only one.
This young adult, supernatural novel has heart and oomph. If you like small town intrigue, the mysteries of history, and spunky female narrators, Steele Secrets won't disappoint.
I’m Vita Webb, a mage at the Alius Academy, and I have a lot to stress about. Do I transfer magical combat academies to Italy to be closer to my absentee father? What should I wear to my ex-boyfriend’s party? And is my current relationship about to end? I seriously need some hang-out time with my non-magical best friend to clear my head.
Unfortunately, that isn’t going to happen any time soon. My annoying fae instructor gives me a call. He hates me, and so far he’s done everything he can to make me fail – but he’s offering me a new mission: a chance to redeem myself in the eyes of the academy… and my parents.
But the mission turns deadly way too fast. Assassins, betrayal, and fatal mistakes – and my best friend seems to be caught up in the middle of it. I need to protect her, no matter what!
Caleb tramples on Holly’s prized herbs and her patience.
Caleb, who recently discovered he’s half-Fae, goes to the Hazel Grove compound for training.
There, he meets Holly, the most beautiful Fae he’s ever seen. They are fated mates.
While Caleb wants to be closer, Holly wants distance. She has loved and lost once before.
When a new kid comes to class, Caleb can see what others can’t: he’s an Unseelie in disguise.
After Caleb finds poisonous plants hidden near the compound, he and Holly need to find out what’s going on in time to stop it.
The whole compound, and possibly the world, is in danger. The only way out is for Holly and Caleb to work together.
Kascia is shattered when they ask her to join the Enthronement. She wants to stop the horrific suffering of her people, but is it worth the cost of her heart and soul? Wishing there was another way, Kascia submits her name for the Enthronement, crushing what's left of her heart. But when the royal family isn't the cruel tyrants Kascia expects them to be, uncertainty clouds her path, turning a clear directive into a dangerous minefield threatening to lead her and her people to their deaths. If the royal family isn’t encouraging the bloodshed, who is?
Will she uncover the truth before the time runs out? Or will the blood be on her hands when the war kills every last man, woman, and child left in Purerah?
