Happy May!
It's my birthday this month! And Mother's Day! And possibly the prettiest month of spring.
My own mother passed away several years ago and May is always a bittersweet month to remember her. I try to focus more on the sweet.
To celebrate my birthday and my own mother, I have some things to give to you all. I also plan to contribute to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where Mom was treated for her brain tumor.
Every May, all the proceeds from Hugging Death: Essays on Motherhood and Saying Goodbye will go to Huntsman. As well as 10% of all the profit from any of my other books.
Hugging Death is a very brief collection of essays I wrote about my mother--mostly after we found out she had a terminal brain tumor. It's a book about finding the bright spots in the dark.
Additionally, my fantasy novels Grey Stone and Grey Lore will get a price reduction. I know this group is for my women's fiction, and I'm not sure if there's anyone who crosses over to YA fantasy. But IF you do, those books will each be $2.99 starting tomorrow. (And remember, if you'd like to give them a go and do it this month, I'll donate 10% to Huntsman.)
