The Determiner Free This Week (plus duckling, plus smoothie)

Super quick email to remind you that The Determiner is FREE this week.
Here's a picture of it "in the wild." My girls and I saw this at the Central Library here in town. That was exciting! If you're local, you can grab a copy from any library! (And if you're not local, request it! Libraries can order it for cheap.)
Also, ducklings. We had a Mama sitting on eggs and just last week, they hatched. You can only see one in the picture, but she's got three (the other two are underneath her). They're adorable and I want to cuddle them, but I can't because the Mama wants to eat my face off any time I get close. She is FIERCE. See how her feathers are fanned out in this pic. That's her saying, "Don't take a single step closer."
Also, a quick, easy, and delicious smoothie recipe. Because it's hot here. But I don't want to die from only eating ice cream. This is our family's go to.
Green Banana Smoothie
1 banana, frozen (I freeze them whenever they start to get spotty--just chunk them up and throw them in a bag)
2 handfuls spinach
1 Tbsp peanut butter (optional)
1 Tbsp Nutella (optional)
1 (or 1 1/2) C milk
Blend until smooth. Enjoy! Feel virtuous because it isn't ice cream...
