It's an expensive time of year. I've been thinking about ways you can get my stuff for cheap or free.

Why would I want you to have it for cheap or free?

Well, partly (and I have been thinking about this a LOT lately), I just want it to be read. I want YOU to read it. I want YOU to love it. I want it to get into people's hands. If that isn't happening, then I'm not sure why I'm writing (at least outside of my journal). And I want it to happen more and to be accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of income level. And, of course, partly, the more people read my stuff, the better my business does (at least in theory).

1. My books can all be found in print at libraries (or the library can order them!). Check them out! Request them! Interlibrary loan them! Soon, most of my books will also be available in ebook form from your libraries. (And in case you were wondering, this is great for me too!)
2. Join my ARC team. ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy. These readers get my books early and for free. In exchange I HOPE they will leave reviews and spread the word. If you want to join my team, reply to this email or hop over to Jean's ARC and Party Group on Facebook. I try to keep my ARC group happy and treat them right. Join us!
3. Open these newsletters! I try to include all of my promotions here. And I try to run promotions on a regular basis.
4. Kindle Unlimited or Kobo Plus. Okay, these aren't quite free, but they are reader platforms where you pay a fee and then read as much as you want. If you're already part of them, then you can get my books for free on them. On KU, I've got From Gunpowder, From Asphalt, From Snow (though they will be leaving the platform in the new year, so grab them now). As well as most of The Determiner series (it will also be leaving in the new year.) As well as Pulse and Hugging Death.
5. Spotify. If you've already paid for Spotify premium, then you can listen to 15 hours of audiobooks for free each month. I've started uploading my audio books to that site. And I plan to continue. If you want any of my non-Spotify audio books for free, I've got codes (Pulse, Grey Stone, Grey Lore). Reply to this email and ask me for them!

Note: I am always HAPPY to donate my middle grade and young adult books to school libraries. So if your school library wants one of my books, I will literally pay my own money to ship it to them. Again, I just want these darn things to be read and loved.

I've compiled all of the novels and stories from the Grey world into one collection. It's up for pre-order now. You can find it on Amazon and soon it will be available for pre-order on other platforms (Nook, Kobo, Google, etc.). If you'd like to grab it, you can find it HERE.

Also, I'm actively working to bring several of my books "wide," meaning they'll be on all platforms, not just Amazon. So keep your eye out for those if you enjoy reading on Nook or Kobo or wherever. This also means things will show up in libraries more easily as ebooks. Order them!
