Let's not beat around the bush - I have fantastic news for you all today!
The Legend of Tal series is being made into audiobooks!
Podium Audio, a venerable name in the audiobook industry, reached out to me recently, and I've signed on with them to get not only A King's Bargain made into an audiobook, but the entire forthcoming quadrilogy!
In case you haven't heard of Podium, they've produced bestselling sci-fi/fantasy titles like The Martian, Dawn of Wonder, Fatemarked, and King's Dark Tidings. I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining such notable company!
Have a favorite narrator? Let me know and I'll pass on the recommendation to the team!
I'll also let you know more about release dates, etc., when I have that info!
Writing and Personal Update
In more great news, I've finished the first draft of A Queen's Command! There's still, of course, plenty of work to be done, but it's a huge milestone to have the raw material of the story down! Now will commence the whittling and simmering to get it down to the real core of the tale. But at my current pace, an autumn launch is still well within the realm of possibility!
On the personal side of things, my fiancée and I ventured out into the Rocky Mountain wilds for some camping! Here are some of the great views we witnessed...
The Famine Cycle will soon be available in all online stores!
In other news, my first epic fantasy series, The Famine Cycle, is "going wide"! That means soon, it will leave the Kindle Unlimited program through Amazon and be available on all stores. This is my first series that I'm pulling out of KU to make wide, so I hope you'll help me make it a success on Google Play, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and all the other great retailers out there!
If you're a Kindle Unlimited reader and haven't checked out the series yet, now's your last chance! City of Whispers, Book 1, will come out of KU near the end of August, and Realm of Ashes, Book 2, will come out even sooner on July 27th. Get to reading if you're interested in epic mysteries, secret societies, forbidden magic, and world-eating gods!
Also, once the series is wide, I'll have a great deal for you on City of Whispers - so stay tuned for that come later this autumn!
