We spent the better part of the off-season heading into the 2021 season studying the shallow cross and drive concepts as a way to enhance our drop-back passing game.

The drive concept allows us to attack multiple coverages while giving our Quarterback an easy high/low triangle read that stresses Linebackers by forcing them to sink or carry. This is also a great way to attack the middle of the field.

In this course, we walk through the base routes and QB progressions and use practice and game cut-ups to show you the detailed ins and outs of the concept. Over the course of six chapters, you'll learn how to install the drive concept from 2x2 and 3x1 formations, how to add a mesh and rail element, and how to package the drive concept with other passing schemes like sail, verts, and the inside fade.
