Konnichiwa from the Japan Switch Team!

You've likely heard that Shibuya and Shinjuku have implemented a public drinking ban on Halloween. Just as many clubs in the West have a 'Don't come Mondays' approach, local governments have announced a 'Don't come here for Halloween (and get wasted, disturb the peace, and leave a mess).'

But that doesn't mean you can't get dressed up and enjoy yourself elsewhere! Many, if not most, bars and clubs will host Halloween events that offer unique cocktails and welcome costumed patrons. You can also check out places which are doing a 'Mundane 'Jimi' Halloween' if you're looking to try something new this year!

And with that, let's dive into some other fun activities to try in Japan this Halloween!
