Pets wanted

I was asking some writer friends what to put in my newsletter and a number of people suggested pet pictures. One problem. Right now we have zero pets. We don't even have a fish. And that makes me sad. So could you please reply to this and send me pictures of your pets to cheer me up? Bonus points if they're chickens, cows, lizards, or other unusual pets -- but I still want to see the kitties, doggos, fishies, and birdies.

Writing update

We're still safe from the fires, but so many people we know have lost so much. I don't have any big updates for you. Loving Ladybug Part One will be off to the editor soon, and Loving Ladybug, Part Two is about to go to the betas. ARC signups will be soon but not yet.
