Making Room for Joy and Peace

Glee greetings, !

It's day 17 of our journey, and guess what? It's time to embrace something simple, yet powerful: creating space. Releasing all the baggages hurt, resentment, comparison, etc., isn't just about letting go of the stuff that's weighing us down; it's about creating space. Space for what? Oh, you know, the good stuff: joy, peace, all those warm fuzzies.

Ever heard this song titled, "Fear Is Not My Future," by Chandler Moore, Kirk Franklin, and the Maverick City Music crew?

The chorus is such sweet chant, inviting peace, joy, and everything good into one's life. Here's how it goes:

"Hello, peace
Hello, joy
Hello, love
Hello, strength
Hello, hope, it's a new horizon"

Intriguingly beautiful lyrics, right? So, here's the deal: with each release, we're decluttering our mental real estate. When we make room in our hearts by releasing all the negativities, we're inviting in positivity.

It's like sending out a cosmic RSVP to joy, hope, love, strength, and peace, saying, "Hey, I've got room for you at the party. Come make merry!" And trust me, they always show up fashionably late but right on time.

Since the first day of this month, we've been decluttering our space, saying goodbye to toxic relationships, letting go of things that no longer serve you, releasing hate, comparison, the desire for validation, taking a deep breath, and letting go of that grudge you've been holding onto like it's your prized possession.

So, here's your affirmation for today: "With each release, I make space for joy and peace."

Repeat it like a mantra, tattoo it on your soul, whatever works for you. Because guess what? You deserve all the joy and peace the universe has to offer, and it's time to make some space for it.

Until I write you again, stay decluttered and sane.

With ❤️
