Compliments of the season, !
I hope this musing finds you well and joyful. I am writing to share with you a 4 year old poem that I wrote for Christmas. It is called "The Reason" and it reflects on the true meaning of this special day.
The poem is inspired by the biblical story of the birth of Jesus Christ, who came to the world to save us from our sins. It also expresses my gratitude to God for his love and mercy, and my wish for peace and joy for everyone.
I hope you enjoy reading the poem and that it touches your heart. I also hope that you have a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family, and that you remember the reason for this festive season.
the reason
happy time for friends and family,
for this, at most, is what we think it is.
children giggle as they unwrap gifts
and dance around the Christmas tree.
i hear the carols being sung
i see colourful lights twinkle on
it was today the saviour was born
the one who was condemned later on
it's christmas, a time of joy
a time to appreciate the ones we love.
also a time to glance up above
and thank the creator once more
for soon, this little baby boy
asleep in a manger, shall be hung
because of sins that won't pass away:
for this reason was he born anyway
so as the holidays approach,
and we chorus noel in the church
let us remember the reason
for this festive season
we must always remember that God
did not send his only begotten son
for merriments of festive days
but that our sins are erased.
my wish is for everyone
who is feeling a little blue
may you find peace, lasting joy
and comfort with everything you do.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and feedback on the poem. I would love to hear from you and connect with you. You can reply to this email.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. I appreciate you, .
Merry Christmas!
