The Courage of a Toddler: Embracing Life's Tumbles

Glee greetings, dear ,

I'd like to write more about yesterday's musing, but from a new perspective—the toddlers. Let's embark on a whimsical journey into the world of toddlers, those little explorers who possess a remarkable lesson in resilience and the power of positive thinking.

As you may (or not not) have observed, toddlers are masters of determination, especially when it comes to taking their very first steps.

Picture a scene: a wide-eyed toddler, wobbling legs, and an unyielding spirit. They take that initial step, teetering on the edge of possibility, and then... oops! Down they go, landing on their soft bottoms.

Despite the tumble, despite the countless stumbles and tumbles that follow, you'll rarely find a toddler berating themselves for their "failures." They don't entertain the thought that they are incapable of walking; instead, they cling to the belief that they are learning, growing, and, most importantly, progressing.

In the world of toddlers, situations may put a tumble in their path, but they don't take it to heart as a failure. Instead, they quickly bounce back, unfazed by the stumble, and ready to try again. They don't meditate on the notion of defeat; they meditate on the thrill of the journey ahead.

Isn't this a beautiful reflection of the quote below?

"Situations can put a wrong thought in your mind, but it doesn't become your thought until you take it and begin to meditate on it"

In this innocent wisdom of toddlers is a gentle reminder that setbacks are just stepping stones to success. It's only when you choose to dwell on the idea of failure, to meditate on it, that it becomes a part of your self-perception.

So, , take a page from the toddler's playbook. As you sashay through life's twists and turns, remember that tumbles and stumbles are part of the journey. It's not about the falls but about the courage to rise again.

Intemtionally choose not to meditate on thoughts of failure, but instead, focus on the joy of learning, growing, progressing, and becoming.

May you approach life with the resilience and unwavering optimism of a toddler learning to walk, embracing every stumble as a step closer to your goals.
