Gratitude and God's Gifts
Glee greetings, . I hope you are having a blessed and peaceful Sunday.
Today, I want to talk about a topic that is very close to my heart: gratitude. Gratitude is the feeling of being thankful for what we have, rather than focusing on what we lack. It is a powerful way to connect with God and appreciate His goodness in our lives.
Sometimes, we may feel disappointed or frustrated when our prayers are not answered the way we want. We may wonder why God does not give us what we ask for or why He allows us to go through hardships and trials. We may even doubt His love and care for us.
But I want to remind you that God knows what is best for us, even when we do not understand His ways. He has a plan and a purpose for each one of us, and He is working all things for our good. He may not give us what we ask for, but He always gives us what we need. And He always makes us feel good with what we already have.
How does He do that?
He does that by filling our hearts with His peace, joy, and love. He does that by sending us His grace, mercy, and favour. He does that by providing us with His presence, guidance, and protection. He does that by surrounding us with His people, His word, and His peace.
It may not seem like it at the moment, but all these are gifts from God that we can enjoy every day if we only open our eyes and our hearts to see them. They are reasons to be grateful and to praise Him. They are signs of His love and care for us. We should be grateful in anticipation for more.
So, , do not be discouraged or discontent when you do not get what you want at this moment. Instead, be grateful and content with what you have. Thank God for His gifts and His goodness in your life. Say with the psalmist: "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing." (Psalm 23:1)
, may God bless you and keep you this week. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
Have a wonderful Sunday, !
Until next time, stay grateful, happy, and sane!
