Read Your Bible, Pray Every Day

Glee greetings, dear !

Growing up as a boy in a Christian home, I learned and enjoyed singing a certain song I was taught in the children's section in Church. The song goes like this:

"Read your bible, pray every day
Pray every day. Pray every day
Read your bible, pray every day
If you want to grow..."

To me then, it was just a song, but presently, it makes more meaning to me than it ever did when I was just a little boy excited by the rhymes, clapping, and joyous child voices.

But, have you ever noticed how spending time with God in prayer and reading His Word can make a real difference?

You see, , God is not just a distant being who created us and left us to our own devices. He is a loving Father who wants to have a personal relationship with each one of us. He wants to speak to us, listen to us, guide, comfort, and bless us. He wants to be our source of joy, peace, and strength.

But how can we experience this amazing relationship with God? The answer is simple: by spending time with Him in prayer and in His Word.

Prayer is our way of talking to God, expressing our gratitude, our needs, our worries, and our desires.

God's Word is His way of talking to us, revealing His character, promises, commands, and plans.

When we spend time with God in prayer and in His Word, we not only grow, we flourish. We grow in our knowledge of Him, our love for Him, and our obedience to Him. We flourish in our purpose, our potential, and our power. We also become more like Him, more confident in Him, and more fruitful for Him.

That is why I want to encourage you to make spending time with God a priority in your life. Don't let the busyness, the distractions, or the challenges of life keep you from connecting with God. Set aside some time every day to be alone with Him, to talk to Him, and to listen to Him. You will be amazed at how much He will transform you and bless you.

So, , here's a reminder to take a moment, read a few verses, and have a chat with our loving Father. You might be surprised at the simple yet profound ways it can impact your day today.

Thank you for reading this newsletter. I hope it inspired you and challenged you. Please feel free to share your thoughts, questions, or testimonies with me. I would love to hear from you.

Until next time, may God bless you and keep you sane.

With ❤️
