Well, Christmas in July came early for me 🎁

After what felt like the longest few weeks of my life, banging on every virtual door possible, I finally managed to get through to Facebook. And guess what?

We’re back.

Every single one of our original groups has been restored and re-enabled 🎉

These aren’t just Facebook groups; they’re lifelines for thousands of Irish people living in Australia.

They’ve helped people find jobs, homes, friendships, even love. So getting them back means more than I can put into words.

• Irish Around Sydney – 143,000 legends
• Irish Around Melbourne – 74,000 strong
• Irish Around Brisbane – 29,000 and counting

I’ll be pausing the "backup" groups for now while I figure out the best way forward, but the main ones are alive and well again.
