I don't know about you, but I've spent several New Year's Eve 'celebrations' in a dark living room, with my wife ... and Ryan Seacrest ... watching performances from artists I know very little about - living vicariously through throngs of people in Times Square or Vegas or New Orleans ... then the ball drops, and I drop into bed.

It was more fun than I ever expected. I had made friends on the cruise, the 'refreshments' were flowing, AND because we were somewhere in the Caribbean at the time, we saw 2024 an hour before any of our friends back home. It was one of the most awesome shared experiences I've had ...
