Happy [belated] Valentine's Day!
We're still buzzing from all the love and support that our neighbors and community of Innerbloomers continue to share with us. For example, it was so heart-warming to see some new and familiar faces during Surfing For Hope's Wellness Expo at the Pismo Pier on January 28. Surfing for Hope is a local non-profit organization that was created to help ease the difficulties of cancer through the healing powers of surfing and the ocean lifestyle.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather, energetic crowds, and participating in such a good cause. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
A look inside our new space
We have been busy with an expansion project which will allow us to provide treatment to more clients and reduce wait times. With another treatment room available, we aim to improve the patient experience by eliminating long waits between infusions.
Flying to help those in need
It was wonderful to operate once again as a general surgeon with the Flying Samaritans, a local non-profit. This organization provides free healthcare services to those who otherwise have no access to medical care. Our all-volunteer team of US-based medical professionals successfully completed 21 surgeries in one weekend down in San Quintín, Baja California!
"The Flying Sams" are always looking for volunteer physicians, nurses, dentists, pilots, translators, and others who are willing to help support a good cause. Visit their website to see how you can get involved too!
