October 2025

We’re excited to announce some big news — Innerbloom is moving! Don’t worry, we’re not going far… just 1 mile from our current location.

Starting December 1st, our new address will be 100 Casa Street, Suite D3. Located right behind Sierra Vista Hospital, the new location will feature more treatment rooms, greater privacy, and additional parking. This means shorter wait times, more flexible scheduling, and an even better experience for our patients.

To make the move, we’ll be closed during Thanksgiving week (Nov 24-28). Currently, we are busy installing new floors, updating lighting, and repainting the entire space. Soon, we’ll add the final touches to create a warm, welcoming, and truly special environment for deep healing. We can’t wait to welcome you to the new Innerbloom soon.

As you can see, Libby is thoroughly enjoying her new role as Lead Designer.

🪬 Spravato: Reflections at Month Four

At Innerbloom, we began offering IV ketamine infusions in 2022 and have since expanded our treatment options to include Spravato, the FDA-approved intranasal form. I’ll admit—I was initially skeptical about introducing Spravato for a number of reasons. But now, four months in, I want to share a few key observations based on real-world experience with our patients.

  1. It works! But it takes time. While most people who respond to IV ketamine begin to notice improvements within their first three infusions, Spravato often takes a bit longer. Some patients don’t see significant change until after eight or more sessions. Patience and a commitment to the process are essential.
  2. Manage expectations. The IV form of ketamine often produces a more immersive, psychedelic-like experience, whereas Spravato is generally milder and more mellow. Some patients even find the Spravato sessions so calming that they catch up on much-needed 😴 during treatment.
  3. Maintenance is key. Spravato functions best as an ongoing maintenance treatment or “long-lasting” antidepressant, rather than the deeply transformative therapeutic experience that IV ketamine can often provide. For this reason, patients continue with ongoing sessions every 2–3 weeks to sustain the benefits.
  4. It’s not for everyone. Access remains limited. Insurance coverage is only approved for specific diagnoses—treatment-resistant depression—and even then, denials or partial coverage are common. Beyond insurance barriers, there are also clinical reasons why I find IV ketamine to be a better fit for certain individuals, regardless of cost.

🤩 Featured Patient Story

"After my first treatment, I knew something significant had changed in me. That’s right, after one treatment! I couldn’t believe it either. It felt like a weight had been lifted off of me. Feelings of guilt were replaced by worthiness. Sadness and anger with hope. Most importantly, I didn’t have to argue with the persuasive little voice that told me I needed a drink." [Read more]

👨‍💻 On the Blog

This month, we’re focusing on Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)—a form of depression that follows a seasonal pattern, often appearing as the days grow shorter and sunlight becomes scarce. Our new four-part blog series takes you from understanding why SAD happens to discovering how to overcome it:

Light Therapy Lamp

Using a light box is a great way to start your morning routine, especially during the darker months. They can help decrease symptoms of seasonal affective disorder and maintain your circadian rhythm for better sleep. I personally use this one—sitting in front of it for about 15–20 minutes each morning right after getting out of bed. If you wake after sunrise, a quick outdoor walk and some natural sunlight can provide the same, or even greater, benefits as a light box.
