We wanted to let you know about a couple of things:

First: Our neighbor Nhancie Botello has been in the process of recovering from surgery. Friends have set up a sign-up form for those who are willing to prepare meals during her time of her recovery.

Second: There's a fair bit afoot relative to changes at the San Antonio International Airport, and the City of San Antonio has organized a meeting set for Tuesday, June 7.

Per Senior Planner, Citywide Planning Division, Jacob Howard, the details are as follows:

COMMUNITY MEETING #1

Community Meeting #1 is set for Tuesday, June 7th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Coker United Methodist Church Gym (231 E North Loop Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216.) This meeting will be an Open House where Community Members can talk to staff about the project, and give input that we will use to develop the plan's vision statement. We are sending everyone in the plan area a postcard advertising the meeting—yes, everyone—see attached. However, If you live in the area, and do not receive a postcard prior to the meeting, let me know so I can make sure we catch any errors in the routes for future meetings.

All SA Tomorrow Sub-area plans have a unique project website and ours has just gone live! As the project progresses, anyone interested will be able use this site to access information about the plan, upcoming public meetings, find draft documents for review, submit questions and comments about the project, and subscribe to email and text updates among other things. Right now, we have posted a link to a survey on the site where anyone who is not able to attend Community Meeting #1 can share their ideas for the future of the Sub-area.
