Welcome to the July 10th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week
Some raised a conversation in one of the Whatsapp groups I'm in that gave a bit of a tail-spinner to my end of the week.
It reminded me of the confusion that most people live life under.
We live life under the heaven of God's interventions.
God intervenes in two ways - the knowledge He gives to men so they can act and supernatural actions.
The problem comes when we begin to place one above the other.
The goal of both is to have us express appreciation to God.
We do a disservice to God by glorifying one above the other.
And this is why I am committed to doing this.
Celebrating the knowledge God gives to create solutions - even if it was given by Him to an unbeliever.
And celebrating the supernatural actions.
It's the life I have been called to.
Celebrating God in the ordinary and the extraordinary.
In a way that makes both of them.
Extra-ordinary.
Things I Learnt
1-God Steps in With People: I have always treated my work as a platform for God to breathe in.
This means that my office challenges are opportunities for Him.
I needed cash flow to meet some needs.
Part of the needs included a couple of things for the staff.
Guess what? It came through in the morning of the day I had to make things happen.
And it came through first for the staff through the staff.
In the case of when staff interests are aligned with business interests, the staff will do wonders to make it happen.
I see it differently.
God works through the staff and in the staff to make things happen.
Even if the staff were not even Christian.
2-The Burden of Prophecy: I am not a prophet. But now and again, I get important prophecies that go beyond me.
I get prophecies about countries and generations.
Knowing that God shares prophecies not because He wants me to grab a megaphone and holler it out is comforting.
It is also a burden.
The burden to respond properly.
I currently have a prophecy about my home country.
It's not the kind of prophecy that most people would want to hear.
But I know the impact of its fulfillment.
And so I try to prepare people for the impact.
Knowing what will happen and responding correctly are two different things
The latter is more important.
And that's the one we fail in the most
And it's the burden I carry to make sure it doesn't keep repeating itself.
Not just with me.
With the I get to live my faith with.
Postscript
May you find the courage to go out and show up as a solution provider to the people around you. In honor of Jesus. Amen
