Welcome to the September 29th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week.
One of the most important things in life is to know when to pivot.
Pivot on how you want to reach your destination.
And occasionally, in rare situations, pivot on the destination.
During the week I had to make a pivot.
Not on the destination but on how I plan to reach the destination.
I had to pivot because I realised I was leaving out one of my stronger personal assets.
Now I’m pivoting to include it in the plan for “how” I reach my destination.
I might probably still make more pivots along the way.
Till I get to the destination.
Things I Learnt
1 - The Road not Taken: I met up with someone during the week. It was great to catch up after a long while.
After I left him, a part of me wondered if maybe I should have taken a different road in life.
You see, I looked at some of what he had achieved and I was very happy for him.
They were also some of the stuff I wanted too.
The difference is the road he had taken had gotten him there before me.
That’s why I wondered…should I have taken another road?
A few hours later, I didn’t ask that question again.
I was happy with the road I took because made me into the man I am.
I am richer for the experiences I have lived through.
And I want to become richer from the experiences he has also lived through.
So, I’ll be setting up a couple of meetups with him so I can get more of his story.
We will not all take the same road but we can all still learn from the experiences on the different roads we each took.
2-A Grateful Heart: On one of the WhatsApp groups I am on, someone posted her gratitude routine.
She has a morning and evening gratitude routine, general gratitude affirmations, morning gratitude affirmations, and specific area gratitude affirmations.
She even has Challenging Times Gratitude Affirmations.
After going through it, I realised I was not living as grateful as I should be.
Now I am changing.
I will live a more grateful life.
Postscript
May you live each day grateful for the blessing you experience every day. Amen
