Welcome to the April 2nd edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week
Are there weeks that you are just not fully on the beat?
This was one of them for me.
I missed some of my habits - a sign that something is amiss.
This was a reminder that I need to restart my habits in the new week.
It's ok to have a weak week as long as I don't keep repeating weak weeks.
Come Monday, the canvas is clean and I start again.
I create a great week for myself.
Things I Learnt
1-Saying "Yes" to What my Season Demands: My pastor asked me how I was handling it.
According to him, he knew I had a full plate with work and all and he wondered how I was showing up constantly for my family.
I appreciated his observation.
I told him that my secret was something I learned a few years back.
I said "no" to the less important things because I was saying "yes" to the more important things.
I was living for the "joy of missing out (JOMO) by not giving to the "fear of missing out (FOMO)."
This is backed by a conviction that I have.
The conviction is this "I will always have time, resources and opportunities in the future to do what I want to do if I make the sacrifices now to do what I need to do."
It works for me.
2-Always Have Your Support System: During the week, I met with my business coach and also my spiritual director.
They are both paid relationships.
And they are worth every penny.
They are part of my 3Degrees of SupportTM
The meetings I had with them this week reminded me of why I will remain committed to these relationships.
They support the decisions I am making and help me develop the clarity I need for the life I am leading.
I am grateful to God for my having them now.
Postscript
May you be humble enough to submit to the wiser minds that God has placed around you to help you move faster in life. Amen
