Welcome to the February 25th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week
What do you do when God tells you, you are not doing as much as you should be doing?
One of the things I have been creating more time for these past few days is time to listen to God.
Devotional time for me is not a “ramble my list” session.
It’s more of a “sit at His feet” moment.
This is very important this year because of the level of demands that I am convinced God has placed on me.
The best way to achieve those targets is by taking daily steps.
And it works better when I can know if I am taking as many steps as I need to take every day.
No, it’s not every time I get a whooping for not doing all I need to do.
But creating those “listening” times makes it easier to hear.
I got one of those times this past week.
I am taking action in my new week.
I will keep pushing and pressing.
Things I Learnt
1-A Spiritual Stand: As you are well aware, the whole world is going through difficult times economically.
Almost every country has complaints about inflation.
But the situation is not unexpected.
As Christians, we are called to do the occasional unexpected.
There are certain acts that we have to do as a sign of the return to prosperity we expect for our countries.
No, it’s not mumbo-jumbo. It’s an act of faith that shows our dependence on God’s ability to keep His promise.
For Abraham, it was first leaving Ur and subsequently circumcision. For Jeremiah, it was buying a piece of property during war times.
For you, I have no idea what it will be.
But for me, I know and no matter how foolish it seems I will continue doing.
Why?
Because I believe in God’s ability to keep His promise.
Once again, He will return prosperity to our lands.
Not because of us.
Because of the Glory of His Name and His unfailing Word of promise.
He is a Promise Keeper.
A God who will always be faithful.
And He can be trusted to be Faithful
2-How Would You Move Mount Fuji: I recently clocked 1 month in a new role that I took up. I was reviewing my first days with one of my coaches.
After listening to the results I was experiencing, he asked me what I had done to deliver these results.
Afterwards, he said something that stopped me in my tracks like a reindeer freezing on the road when looking at a car’s headlights.
He said the results I had delivered were not ordinary - many senior executives would struggle to achieve that sort of impact in so short a time.
The other aspect he also liked was this - I could identify what I had done to deliver these results.
Knowing my “how” means it is now something I could teach others to replicate.
And “boom” I have another result-driven framework to help workplace multipliers win at work and in life.
And that is how you move Mount Fuji.
Postscript
May you have the discipline to understand how you deliver the results you achieve so you can teach others how to repeat those wins. Amen.
