Last week, I was on a clarity call with someone.
Her driving reason for the call – she was trying to decide if it was time for her to leave her current job.
She is on track for becoming a partner but she still felt something missing.
Well, after she gave me the full low down, I asked a couple of questions of my own.
There was something bigger missing in her life.
She didn’t have a proper rest cycle.
The working week was loaded and the weekends were no better.
First, she was emotionally drained above all else.
Second, her body and mind were crying for rest & renewal, giving her signals she wasn’t picking up.
Fortunately, we picked the signals during our conversation.
Her action plan was to develop a rest rhythm which she could live by.
After implementing this, she could reach out for us to talk about the first reason she called.
It’s not bait-and-switch.
It’s helping her get what she needs before she goes for what she wants
Why did I choose this approach?
Because making important decisions like these require a clear head and an unstressed mind.
When important decisions like these are made under these conditions, the decisions are better thought through and managed more effectively.
Even the best decisions need to be managed.
Why?
Because the conditions that existed when the decision was made can change and the decision needs to be adapted to the new conditions.
You got something you want to clear out on your work journey?
Get on the call with me.
Let’s talk.
We might be able to clear a few cobwebs for you.
Did I tell you that it’s free?
Yes, sometimes the best things in life are free.
I’ll talk to you in a bit
Here is to your continued success.
Tata,
Tola
