Let us continue to advance our knowledge around Goldbacks. Now this one is something I wanted to throw out there before I even came up with the idea for The Goldbackers.
And that is:
What are your best practices or scenarios for introducing Goldbacks to new people and businesses?
To add a little more context let me share my quick story with Goldbacks.
I actually heard of Goldbacks a year or two before I owned some. At first I just couldn't get my head around the idea of them. I never seen a GB or visited their website. I thought it was some kind of deal where you send them Gold on deposit etc. Then, again in 2022 I was exposed to Goldbacks and I started to check it out. Instantly, I was in love with Goldbacks and understood how powerful they truly are!
I started to do what everyone else seems to do. I started giving them out as tips and would even flat out give some GBs to people when we had a very positive dialogue. That's when Goldbacks were $3.50 -$4. A year or so later Goldbacks kept moving higher and higher with Gold, and just giving them out to people became well, to expensive! And so with that, my outreach with Goldbacks slowed to a crawl.
Now of course if I was talking to someone I would definitely mention and pull out some Goldbacks all the time. But the days of giving them away were over at these higher prices. This is why I am super excited for the 1/4 GBs & 1/2 GBs. These new denominations will help me with being able to chat someone up about Goldbacks. If it goes well enough, I may leave them some actual 24k GBs in their hands! This way Goldbacks keeps fresh on their minds and hopefully him or her will check into Goldbacks further!
