The Tall Boy, the name I gave to the Goldbacks’ largest and heaviest 24K Gold note, is going away! These bills are worth 1/10 of an ounce of Gold. So, if you have 10, 100GB notes, you have a full ounce of Gold.
For some context, the 100GB note has only been produced for a year or so, and only a few states series have them. Also, I don’t own one of these bills, nor have I seen or held one.
Even with the recent downturn in the Gold price, these notes are still worth around $800-$900 US dollars. Now, they may have a bit more value as they are now no longer being produced.

How can you be certain they are genuine?
Goldbacks have been in circulation since 2019 and are already legal tender in nine states. Next, I like to mention Mike Adams the Health Ranger, who made a bold decision to blindly order some Goldbacks and submit them to his accredited laboratory for testing. To everyone's astonishment, the Gold tested out to be pure 24k as expected, but it was also revealed that each Goldback contains more Gold than is printed on the note itself!

What if the plastic breaks or it gets torn?
Goldbacks are designed to be used for everyday transactions just like US dollars. GB notes feature two layers of plastic on each side. The production of GBs is carried out using advanced and expensive machinery. I would confidently assert that GBs are more durable than cash!
However, if you encounter any issues with a Goldback note during normal usage, the company stands by its product. Simply mail the note to them in Utah, and they will promptly send you a replacement. Your friendly editor has been carrying around Goldbacks with me daily for years now, and I never have had any problems!
