There were several actionable steps discussed in our Virtual Summiteers meeting last Friday. I pulled out a few of them:
Content Repurposing for Multiple Platforms:

- Action Step: Incorporate clear calls to action in repurposed content to drive traffic to upcoming events.
Camera Awareness and Live Streaming Best Practices:
- Action Step: Invest in tools like the Elgato prompter to enhance eye contact during interviews and improve engagement while live streaming.
Supporting Veterans through Community Events and Housing:
- Action Step: Explore creative ideas for supporting veterans, such as repurposing abandoned motels into transitional housing or creating community initiatives.
- Action Step: Consider partnerships with organizations like Wounded Warrior Project to actualize community support goals.
Leveraging Community Platforms like Heartbeat and Upcoach:
- Action Step: Evaluate and choose between platforms like Heartbeat and Upcoach for online programs based on specific needs.
- Action Step: Implement user segmentation and customize access to maximize the benefits of chosen community platforms.
Promoting Events and Building Brand Recognition:
- Action Step: Test and refine different promotion strategies for interview series, with a particular focus on platforms like LinkedIn.
- Action Step: Listen to your audience to create resonant, solution-based content that spreads organically.
Activating AppSumo Licenses and Getting Support:
- Action Step: If facing difficulties with AppSumo licenses, reach out directly with purchase records for timely support.
- Action Step: Consider escalating issues to leadership to prioritize the resolution of technical problems.
These action steps came from the transcript of our recorded Zoom meeting, then given to Chat GPT to pull out things like action steps to provide a practical guide for content creators, community builders, and businesses looking to enhance their reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness in the digital landscape. It doen't stop there. After all of that the content then goese to a Google Doc where I can add on my own 2 cents, affiliate links and call to actions.
