Box 4322 Visalia, CA 93278-4322 | ◆ PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE ◆ | Hello Heartland Of Raider Nation, I pray all is well in our Raider Family. On the field, Raiders 2026 is off and running and Raider Nation is enjoying every bit of it. Off the field for Raiders 2026, we have 3 big events for our club: Relay For Life, the Bethlehem Center raffle, and our Raider Nation Blood Drive. As we enjoy the excitement about our team, I hope we can continue the excitement by supporting 3 very important events for our club and for our community.
Before our next meeting we have a very big game this Sunday against our rival. Heartland Of Raider Nation, Win, Lose or Tie, See You At The Meeting!!! GO RAIDERS!!!
ELISEO | ◆ RELAY FOR LIFE ◆ |
The annual Tulare County Relay For Life will begin this Saturday, October 3 at 8 AM and will conclude at 8 AM on Sunday, October 4th at Tulare Western High School. Our Booster Club Team “Raiders For A Cure” will have our booth at the event and can use your support.
Your President unfortunately will not be able to help and support this year as I will be in Las Vegas, BUT I am donating a $100 cash prize for our raffle and a surprise or 2. Our team leader Norma Cisnerous and her assistant Kim Anaya could use your help in setting up our booth and supporting it for the entire 24 hours of the Relay. Our Raiders For A Cure team has been the only club/group that has had support at our booth and have had someone walking the entire 24 hours of the Relay every year that we have been involved in the Relay, and we want to continue that this year.
ATTENTION: Our club could use raffle prize baskets, gift card donations or any other donations for our raffles to help raise money for our team.
ATTENTION: We need walkers for the following laps: 12 Noon, 2 PM, 4 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM, 9 PM and 10 PM.
Please contact the club or Norma Cisnerous directly at (209) 230‑2049 if you can help donate, help set up, help at our booth or walk laps. If you are not sure if you can make it and don’t want to commit, BUT on Saturday or Sunday you have some time to support, please come on out and see how you can help.
All of us have been affected by Cancer in one way or another. Let us honor and remember our lost ones, support our fighters and celebrate our Survivors. To help us sell more raffle tickets and make our raffle tickets look better, we are asking for donations from our club members of either $100, $50 or a donation of a raffle item, gift card, etc. The deadline to donate an item so it gets added to our raffle ticket is October 25th.

On January 3rd, 2025 we lost a great friend and mentor to all Raiders Booster Clubs when Morris Bradshaw passed away. Morris was a 2 time Super Bowl winner with the Raiders and from 1989 through 2019 served as the Raiders Senior Administrator, Raiders Booster Club Advisor and head of Raiders Alumni.
His childhood friend Jeff Krumeich started a Morris Bradshaw Scholarship Fund in Morris’s hometown of Edwardsville, Illinois. A $2,000 annual scholarship will be given out at Morris’s High School to a player on the football team in Honor of Morris. On September 12th, 2025 a dinner was held in Morris’s home town to officially kick off the scholarship, and on Friday, September 13th at the high school football game, Morris’s high school number 19 was officially retired.
ATTENTION: On Monday, May 11th the 1st $2,000 Morris Bradshaw Scholarship award was presented to Yale Weaver. This was an emotional presentation for the Bradshaw family and they shared pictures with me and it brought tears to my eyes. I miss my friend, my mentor, my brother, but at the same time I am grateful that his memory will live on with this scholarship award.
At our September 10th meeting we raised $15. We are now $34 shy of our goal of $1,000. Heartland Of Raider Nation, We Are Almost There. Thank You For Your Support!
