Facebook locked me out while I was explaining why Facebook is unreliable.

Hey ,

The algorithm proved my point for me last week.

I have to tell you something that happened to me last Thursday night because the timing was so ridiculously perfect I couldn't make it up.

I was on a Zoom call, talking about why building your business on social media is risky. Mid-call, Facebook put me in DM jail.

No warning, no explanation, basically "you can't DM anyone anymore, sorry, not sorry".

My first reaction was to laugh, because if you know me, you know I talk about this CONS👏TAN👏TLY.

And there it was happening in real time, while I was literally making the argument.😂

These platforms don't care about our business, they only care about your attention, your time, and your data too (scanning private conversations and all, but that's a conversation for another day).

Your reach can drop overnight, your account can get restricted for no reason or even hacked, your conversations can get cut off just like that, and you don't get a say.

I've always known that, but I still got brainwashed many years ago by the self-proclaimed gurus who pretended to have figured out the algorithm code.

(Not glorious, I know)

So I finally found my back back (thank God, literally!) and stopped listening to the noise. I deleted my Instagram completely (one of my best decisions ever), and doubled down on what I always knew worked: SEO.

A website that actually brings in clients with content that compounds instead of disappearing in 48 hours (if you're lucky and the algorithm gremlins have granted you their favors).

I recorded a full episode about this, and I'm sharing the whole story including the data, what I actually did, what changed in my business, and where to start if your website isn't doing anything for you right now.

You can listen here on Spotify, Apple or Youtube

If you're a service provider whose website exists but doesn't bring in clients and you want to change that, this episode is for you.

Talk soon,

Morgane

PS. If you'd rather just fix your website so strangers on the internet find you while you sleep, Sold Out SEO is open at the founding rate of €497 for the first 10 spots (I still have a few spots available). Learn the system once and use it forever, the algorithm can't touch that one.
