Hi ,
With World Mental Health Day coming on October 10, I want to share an image that has stayed with me.
Sparkly and Alma are looking at an old navigation instrument.
At its heart is one word: MEANING. Around it is ORDER. Beyond the window, SPARKLE shines among the stars.
I call the image COSMOS.
It reminds me why I try to bring some order to my days: to make room for the people, work, faith, rest, and small moments that matter.
During my years of severe illness, I could not see the whole path ahead.
Meaning did not require me to know where I would end up. Sometimes the question was simply, What matters enough to take the next true step today?
You might ask yourself that question this week.
Pause and notice what has been taking all your energy.
Reset by remembering what matters to you now, in this season of your life.
Then respond with one possible step toward it. That step might be a conversation, a moment of rest, an act of kindness, or asking for the help you need.
I am writing Recover Your Sparkle for people who need hope and a place to begin.
You can learn more about the book and its message here.
You do not have to see the whole mountain today.
Find what matters and let it help you take the next true step.
With Love and Light,
Dr. Christine
P.S. Your Sparkle may be buried. Yet it is not lost. ✨
