3 Steps To Deal With People With HUGE ego

Huge ego

We see these sorts of people

Super loud, extremely clever, diabolically devious.. etc

What do we do when facing this?

Step #1

Clarify the context

Who are we dealing with? What's the nature of the environment? Why are we meeting paths practically?

This matters because if we don't understand the bigger picture we may increase the odds that we act emotionally and do something from a weak place, like insecurity, jealousy, fear, avoidance, etc.

Step #2

Understand the person

Listen to not just their words..

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY..

OBSERVE:

-their tones

-their gestures

-their cadence of speech

FEEL THE ENERGY THEY RADIATE.

This is not about you liking their personality.

NOT ONE BIT.

This is about you having compassion and understanding where they stand.

Truly listening when they speak.

This is one of the purest actions.

Step #3

Watch your reactions

YEOOOOOOOO

Now you may be thinking, wait what?

That was just a test.

Did you have a reaction?

Come back.

As you move through the world you may get triggered.

It's your responsibility to be aware of your own conditioning.

Conditioning manifest via ego triggers.

Ego triggers create ego reactions.

1+1=2

BUT..

Can you observe the reactions internally.

And not be so unaware that you act them out.

What happens when you stop WASTING ENERGY?

The energy goes somewhere.

But now it's not going down the drain.

So where does it go?

Want to:

-be a better looking person

-feel comfortable in your own skin

-resolve deep conflict in your heart
