Then your attention is taken swiftly
Instantly, thoughts begin to swirl
Like the mind is a jungle of thought
Now you're comparing yourself
As the individual whom you're comparing to..
Seems perfect
Or
There's a problem with them
Two sides of the same coin
Comparison leads you to feel higher or lower
And the game of me VS you
This is a zero-sum game
A devilish endeavor
You don't believe me
You cannot accept these words
But - If you are strong
Just be real with yourself
The only fruit comparison creates is poisonous fruit
I am not saying don't be open to feedback
I am saying most of the time others who give advice..
They're in no better position than you
Or
They don't even know you
Most people just spew non-sense
This does not mean don't hear them
You must listen to see where they root energetically
You know what you need to do rather than compare?
You need to ask god to help you see
Those who believe in god are lost
God is not something to believe in
God is someone you walk with
Like a friend
You start asking god to help you
And if you really mean it
God will make some ripples
