Are You Hosting Boring Virtual Events?

Hey ,
Quick question for you…
👉 Are your virtual events building your business or just draining your energy (and making you wonder why you bothered with that snazzy new mic)?
We just wrapped up a killer session on how to use the AARRR funnel, Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral and Revenue, to make virtual events work smarter, not harder.
Here’s the gist (because who has time for fluff?):
✅ Acquire: Use smart tools (like HeySummit or Book Like a Boss) to get new people registering & excited.
✅ Activate: Wow them with your expertise live demos, interactive Q&As, maybe even a spicy quiz or two.
✅ Retain: Keep showing up with value. Regular follow-ups, recaps and sneak peeks of what’s next keep them hooked.
✅ Referral: Make it easy (and tempting) for people to share. Think contests, referral codes, speaker affiliates.
✅ Revenue: Don’t shy away from selling. Tiered offers or even low-ticket products turn your virtual crowd into paying clients.
Oh and if you’re still sending out text only “Hey I have an event” emails with no personality? Stop. Add a short, punchy video next time. It converts way better!
🤔 Food for thought:
What’s one thing you could package up and sell (even for $7) after your next virtual event? Or how could you get your raving fans to bring their friends?
Hit reply and tell me.
Would love to swap ideas (or horror stories if your last event was a snooze, no judgment).
*Keep Moving Forward!
