Opportunity to learn a new skill & marvellous performance at the Royal Pavilion

Dear good people,

How was your May?

For me, it was a busy and exciting month of exhibiting and performing.

The month concluding in a performance at The Royal Pavilion Gala with Adelaide Salon. It was the first event of its kind to take place at the Pavilion in 175 years. The evening was a glorious celebration of performance, visual art, opulence, and extravagance.

I performed Again and Again with my partner, Andy Ash—a piece that explores the limits of human relationships, testing how far they can be stretched, challenged, and ultimately supported. It was a privilege to present the work in such a remarkable setting.

I'm thrilled to announce my next workshop on Sunday 14th June!

This full-day immersive workshop will explore cyanotype printing on alternative surfaces. You'll learn how to create stunning cyanotype prints on T-shirts and glass. A T-shirt and piece of glass are included, and there will also be opportunities to experiment with canvas, silk.

Whether you're completely new to cyanotype or already have some experience, you'll leave with new skills, unique handmade pieces, and plenty of inspiration. Beginners are absolutely welcome.

For just £80, you'll enjoy a full day of creativity, experimentation, learning, and making in a friendly and supportive studio environment.

Spaces are limited, so if you've been curious about cyanotype or would like to take your practice in a new direction, I'd love you to join us.

I am off on residency at Joya + Ecologia AiR on the 17th June until the end of the month. It is located in the Parque Natural Sierra María-Los Vélez in the province of Almería, Andalusia, Spain. It is an off-grid arts residency situated in a rural, mountainous area at 1,000 meters altitude.

"Climate-positive since 2006, Joya: AiR functions as a generative space for the emergence of climate culture, where artistic exploration contributes to reimagining human-nonhuman relations through the lenses of sustainability, rewilding, and deep ecological thinking".

Looking forward to sharing my explorations into wild clay and other forms of experimental photography with you.

As always I would love to hear from you

All the very best
