Over the weekend, I spent time editing my new book.

I am genuinely excited about the impact it is going to have…not just on careers, but on the way professionals think about growth, results, and what they're actually capable of.

I haven't released it yet. But I am deeply confident in the value it carries.

Here's why: this isn't a book of theories. It is a distillation of how I actually work…the frameworks, the thinking, the moves…drawn from years of results with real people in real organisations across Africa and beyond.

In a very real sense, I am replacing myself through this book.

As much as I would love to work directly with everyone who needs what I carry, I can't.

Time, geography, and access make that impossible. The book removes those constraints. It gives you what I would give you…on your schedule, in your context, at your pace.

Something happened on Sunday that confirmed why this matters.

Out of the blue, I got a call from someone asking for a copy of my first book, Winning Beyond Borders: Achieving Success at Work in a New Country. Not his first copy…his second.

He had misplaced the original and couldn't travel without it. He was leaving early Monday morning. At 10:30pm on a Sunday night, someone made the trip to get the book to him.

You don't chase down a second copy of a book you've forgotten about.

That kind of reach is exactly what I am building again. Intentionally. At a larger scale.
