What would stop if you disappeared for 30 days?

Workplace Multiplier by Tola Akinsulire

Welcome to Workplace Multiplier, the weekday newsletter for senior leaders tired of fixing, chasing, and rescuing. You'll learn how to build a trusted, capable team that fully owns critical responsibilities...freeing you to lead at the level your role demands.

What would stop if you disappeared for 30 days?

Howdy ,

Imagine you became completely unavailable for the next 30 days.

Not checking emails.

Not approving decisions.

Not quietly correcting things behind the scenes.

What would happen?

Some responsibilities would continue normally.

Others would slow down, deteriorate or stop completely.

That difference reveals where ownership has genuinely transferred-and where you remain the hidden operating system.

Choose three critical responsibilities currently handled by your team.

For each one, ask:

A job title is not evidence of ownership.

Neither is completing tasks when you are available to prompt, approve and intervene.

The real test is whether the responsibility remains under control when your attention moves elsewhere.

This is not about becoming absent from your team.

It is about reclaiming the capacity to focus on the strategic work your role requires-without important responsibilities collapsing behind you.

If you cannot identify three critical responsibilities that would remain under control without your involvement, my Team Ownership Strategy Session can help you diagnose why.

Reply to this email if you would like me to send you the details.

Keep winning at work and in life
