Do You Want To Be A Leader?

Dear ,
So many people complain about their bosses.
At the same time, many people want to be leaders.
They want the title, the authority, the recognition that comes with leadership.
But leadership is not simply a position.
It is a responsibility.
Many people step into leadership without fully understanding what it asks of them. A leader carries influence over the lives, emotions, and growth of others.
Without self-awareness, that influence can easily wound rather than uplift.
This is why I often say: heal before you lead.
Leadership does not always mean standing in the spotlight. Some of the most powerful leaders guide from the back, creating space for others to grow, speak, and rise.
Leadership can be gentle.
It can be quiet.
Women, in particular, often lead differently than the models we were shown growing up. For many years, leadership was shaped by very masculine expressions of power. But true leadership is not about copying those roles. It is about discovering your own authentic style.
Before we lead others, we must be willing to do our own work:
Healing the heart.
Healing the emotions.
Listening to the wisdom of the body.
When we do this, our leadership becomes something entirely different—less about control, and more about presence.
Less about authority, and more about integrity.
And the people around us feel the difference.
I invite you to reflect on this share your thoughts.
