One pattern I see again and again

Hi ,
One pattern I see again and again when reviewing investment portfolios is this:
People tend to buy when markets feel safe
and sell when markets feel uncomfortable.
Which usually means:
Buying high.
Selling low.
It doesn’t happen because investors lack intelligence.
It happens because markets trigger emotions.
A well-structured portfolio should help investors stay invested even when markets become uncomfortable.
I wrote a short piece about this recently.
