Losing loved ones and hearing of some of my patient losing loved ones has made some days harder than others.
Grief…
The pain of a loved one gone.
A life cut short perhaps before his/her time.
Sometimes it seems everyone has “gone on with life” and you are yet to catch up.
Truth is, I pray for strength for you if you or anyone you know is grieving.
If you are the griever please:
- Continue leaning in to your support systems and let us know how we can serve as one.
- Ask for what you need; a hug, a check in call, a shoulder to cry on, company or perhaps therapy to help you through the season
- Help those around you to help you to be a source of encouragement!
You can respond to this email to let me know of other ways you think you could be helped during this season.
If you know someone grieving please:
- check in on them
- Ask specifically how you can help them during this season
- show them you care.
