The International English Language Testing System is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers.
IELTS is a major requirement when applying for scholarships in most English-Speaking countries like the United States, the United Kingdom etc. And your band scores decide your level of competence in the English language. It is meant to tell how much you understand English Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
