Hello ,
I made a small wager with Mark Sham, owner of The Tryst, that I'd fill the room for Wednesday's Become the Obvious Choice working session. Eighty business owners.
He looked at me as if I were delusional. I'm sure I heard a silent pfft.
Fifty-six people have booked. There are 24 places left. At this point, the pfft may be warranted.
I realise some of you can't make it. You're seeing clients. You're doing your hair. You just don't wanna. Fair enough, although I have questions about the hair.
The irony is that I'm running a session about becoming the obvious choice, and my attempts to persuade you to attend have been anything but obvious.
Perhaps the word free is putting you off. The session is free because I've chosen to make it free, not because I've run out of useful things to say.
We'll work on a question many business owners wrestle with: why should someone choose you when they can put three other businesses beside yours and struggle to see the difference?
You'll leave with the bones of a clearer answer, and something you can start using in the way you talk about your business.
If you can attend, please come. You may learn something useful, and you'll spare me the blushes when I next see Mark.
Jacques
PS. If you intend to come, please book today. I need the final numbers by close of business.
