Pregnant with another one.👶 💌 The Content Diaries

Hey ,
Lately I’ve been surrounded by women talking about babies.
Trying for another.
Thinking about another.
Pregnant with another one.👶
And I keep waiting for the moment I’m meant to feel that pull too.
I don’t.
I go home to my daughter and I feel full. Steady. Complete. Not bored. Not stuck. Just deeply satisfied with what I already have.
And it made me realise something that applies far beyond motherhood.
We’ve confused fulfilment with expansion.
In business, we’re taught that if you’re not adding something, you’re falling behind.
Another offer.
Another audience.
Another platform.
Another push.
But here’s the truth most people won’t say out loud.
More is not the same thing as better.
And growth without clarity just creates noise.
Fulfilment comes from alignment, not accumulation.
When your business is aligned, it feels calm.
Decisions come quickly.
You don’t second-guess yourself constantly.
You’re not chasing validation through busyness.
When it’s misaligned, you start adding things to fix an internal discomfort.
More offers to feel successful.
More clients to feel secure.
More visibility to feel relevant.
Here’s a simple filter you can use this week before you add anything new to your business.
Ask yourself three questions.
- What problem am I actually trying to solve by adding this?
- If this succeeds, what does it require more of from me, time, energy, attention?
- Does this move me closer to the life I want, or just a bigger business on paper?
If the answer is pressure, chaos, or proving something, pause.
Real fulfilment in business often looks boring from the outside.
Fewer offers.
Clear lanes.
Strong boundaries.
Enough income without constant urgency.
You don’t need to want more just because everyone else does.
You’re allowed to decide that what you have works.
You’re allowed to protect it.
You’re allowed to build from a place of satisfaction, not hunger.
That’s not complacency.
That’s leadership.
Lisa.
