New Course: Sketching for Storytelling (6-week live class) + Free workshop Jan 14 on LinkedIn!

Hi friends,

Quick update — I’m teaching a brand new 6-week live course through Origin Art Academy: Intro to Sketching for Storytelling

This class is all about using sketching as a thinking tool — not polished drawings.

We’ll focus on:

• thumbnail sketching for idea generation
• choosing strong story moments
• mood + emotional tone (with a simple intro to color)
• composition basics (so your scenes read clearly)
• refining for clarity (not perfection)
• critique + a final Figma presentation board you can share

From an old project! See more here.

If you’ve been wanting a structured way to build your storytelling muscles (without pressure), I think you’ll love it.

Also — if you want a fun, low-pressure way to try it first, I’m hosting a free live sketching workshop on Wednesday, Jan 14 (12:15–12:45 PM PT). We’ll do quick warmups + thumbnail prompts together and I’ll share more about the course at the end.

See you there (and bring a messy sketchbook — that’s the whole point 😉)

Wishing you endless creativity and success,
